Why we exist
To help teams work better wth AI.
Most organisations are experiencing AI one person at a time. A few enthusiasts race ahead. Everyone else watches, waits or works it out for themselves. The result is lots of activity but very little shared capability.
We started Jointly to change that. Our job is to bring people and AI into the same working session, helping teams learn together, solve problems together and build new capabilities together. Because AI becomes far more valuable when it stops being a personal productivity tool and starts becoming part of how a team works.
We are practitioners, not presenters. We build with the tools we teach.
How we think
Three relationships. One way of working.
Most organisations experience AI one person at a time. Someone discovers a useful prompt, builds a clever workflow or finds a new tool. Progress happens, but it stays isolated.
We think that’s only the beginning.
The real opportunity comes when AI strengthens not just the relationship between people and technology, but the relationships between people themselves. We call that Collaborative AI.
Me + AI
Personal capability.
Each person develops their own way of working with AI. Not just prompting, but learning how to research, create, analyse and think alongside it. Real fluency comes from building, not watching.
Me + Us
Shared capability.
Individual breakthroughs become team habits. Useful prompts, workflows and lessons spread across the organisation, creating a shared language, a shared standard and a faster way to learn together.
Us + AI
Collective capability.
Teams and AI working as one unit. The challenges that once went to consultants get solved in-house, through workflows and systems that get smarter every time the team uses them.
The Team
He’s worked with challengers like First Direct, Virgin and HTC and helped the market leaders like Nokia, LG, Barclays and NatWest think a bit more like them.
He’s been on every side of the marketing table, agency, client, in-house studio learning how real ideas get made.
After years studying and working in the US, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and the Czech Republic, he came home to Scotland and co-founded Jointly in 2020.
Everything he’d seen led to one belief. That the best ideas happen when people make them together. Jointly is that belief turned into a way of working.

He’s built startups from scratch, raised investment for AI ventures and helped big organisations rethink how they innovate.
With roots in product design, facilitation and coaching, he’s learned that creativity needs direction and that progress happens when people build, test and learn together
After years with AJ&Smart and Sprint Valley, he co-founded Jointly in 2020 to put collaboration back at the centre of how teams think and make.
Spencer brings warmth, curiosity and focus to every sprint, helping teams find clarity in the chaos and leave with ideas they believe in.
Makers
Collective intelligence doesn’t stop with our clients.
We’ve built a trusted community of collaborators: facilitators, researchers, strategists, designers, builders and subject matter experts who share our belief that the best thinking happens together.
They are part of the Jointly way of working. Not an add-on. Not a bench. Not extra resource. A community of people who help us see challenges from different angles, bring specialist expertise when it matters and continually raise the quality of the work.
Together, we expand and adapt to fit the challenge, not the other way round.
Jointly partners with…
Most teams use Miro as a whiteboard. We use it as a workplace.
As a Miro Global Solution Partner, we’ve helped organisations turn collaboration from a series of meetings into a structured, engaging and highly productive way of working.
Every Jointly Sprint runs inside a custom-designed Worksite, built around the challenge at hand. The exercises, prompts, AI interactions and decision points are all designed in advance, creating a space that helps teams move faster, think wider and get to better answers.
We’ve run workshops at Miro’s Amsterdam Discovery Center, get early access to new features and functionality and work directly with Miro on webinars, events and client engagements. That relationship keeps us close to the platform’s evolution and helps us continually improve the Worksites, Sprints and collaborative experiences we design for clients.
The technology matters. The environment matters more.

Next Gen
1 FOR 1
The organisations adopting AI fastest shouldn’t be the ones pulling up the ladder behind them.
So for every paying participant in an AI Immersion or AI Sprint, we create a place for a young aspiring entrepreneur on an AI Debut Sprint.
They’ll take an idea from concept to viable business plan, working with AI as a co-founder and experienced facilitators in their corner. No fees. No catch. No strings attached.
We believe the next generation should have access to the same tools, skills and opportunities transforming today’s organisations.
That’s why 1FOR1 isn’t something we do alongside the business. It’s part of the business.
How 1For1 works
The next generation of founders won’t wait for venture capital. They’ll start with AI.

A short conversation is usually enough to understand the challenge, explore the options and see whether a Sprint or Immersion could help move things forward.
